I want to be a _____ when I grow up..

So, I thought I had the perfect solution to my unsatisfying job. I was going to become a physical therapist. It's perfect for what I want to do. I want a job that really makes a difference and has more meaning to me. I wanted a job that I would want to go to everyday. I would be helping people and working in close contact with them. So my perfect solution was physical therapy with a focus with children.

Eeeii.. Wrong.. Won't be happening anytime soon. The approximate cost is
$50,000 and it would take 3 years to complete. A part-time job is not recommended and you cannot take the classes part-time either. So, as I was saying.. not going to happen. I was rather devastated and let down but I'm better today. I applied for a position that actually requires my degree so that's promising. I don't really have much else to say.. I just want another job! I want a career!

Starting off..

Ok.. Where do I start? I started looking at different blogs last week, mostly about pregnancy and babies. I kept thinking I want to start one too! But, I don't know what to talk about.. Hmm.. Well, today I feel very blah about my job and the direction of my life. I just got married almost two months ago, which is wonderful and I am very happy about that step in our lives. We are planning on starting a family in the Spring but I wouldn't mind starting one now. The only problem with that is.. I'm a little of a planning/controlling person and I want to know when exactly I would get pregnant, when the baby would be due, what year (b/c of the Chinese zodiac) and what zodiac sign they would be. I know it sounds a little superficial but I think it's kinda important. I know that whenever my baby is born that I will love him or her. That's another thing.. I really, really want a girl. I have never had anyone in my family look like me and I would love to have a little girl that I can see myself in. I really can't wait to start our family. I feel that would give me more to work for. I know you're not supposed to think that way about babies, but I just want something in my life that brings so much meaning.

Our plan (if all goes well) is to get pregnant in May and have the baby due in February. My husband doesn't seem to put off by my overly imaginative planning, which is great for me. I keep thinking he is going to get upset and tell me to stop talking about it and then in turn hurt my feelings. Oh well. He's really patient, which is great for me b/c sometimes it takes me a couple of sentences to get to my point.

I'm dissatisfied with my job right now because I really don't know what I want to do. I went to school wanting to work in an Ad agency. Unfortunately, we're in the wrong-wrong town for that. Now I don't know what to do b/c I feel like we're pretty much stuck here. I don't think my husband really wants to move and I actually don't like moving either.

I'll have to expand on this later and get back to work.. Hehe
